Condolences
C.Gimenez My deepest condolences August 3, 2018

My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Can something good be said about death?

It Separates friends, families and sows pain, grief and sadness.

The Bible says that death is our great enemy.

However, the Bible also gives us hope!

John 5: 28, 29 as well as Acts 24:15; indicate that there will be a resurrection of the just and unjust.

Psalm 37:29 also promises that the righteous will possess the Earth.

Through the pages of the Bible we can acquire knowledge and guidance that help us face the loss of our loved ones…It gives us a sure hope.

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Dear Sensei
Thank you for all you have done for me over the past 6 years. I know we hadn't seen each other in recent years but your training has had a permanent impact on my life. Thanks for teaching me about self-confidence and making me believe that the sky is the limit as long as you work hard. I will never forget when training for the Kawata cup and I fell sick and went into the hospital. You came to see me and the first thing you did when you walked in was tease me about the movie I was watching. It made me feel better for some reason. I will also never forget you showing up at my house and asking my mum to make you some chocolate eclairs multiple times. Thanks for all the memories that will last a lifetime. RIP Sensei

Dear Sensei,
Thanks to you I had so many opportunities to extend my own karate. At my first competition you took me and Caitlin under your wind. You helped us break our limits and realise that we were the only thing holding us from our full potential. I know I haven't seen you in recent years, but I am truly grateful that you took the time to train me and teach me so many life lessons. I will never forget my competition experience with you, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
May you rest in peace, and my deepest condolences to your friends and family.

I am just so heartbroken over the sudden passing of Sensei Chris McGregor. Chris you have been in our lives for the past 6 years as a sensei, coach, mentor and friend. You have had a profound impact on our family, especially Ryan. Outside of our family, no-one has had a closer relationship with Ryan, guiding and mentoring him to help him become the person he is today. All 3 of our boys were so lucky to have trained with you, and all had so much respect for you. Your passing has left a huge hole in our hearts and we will miss you so much. Tuesdays and Fridays will just never be the same again. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. To Chris's family, friends, and fellow students, we pass on our deepest condolences and love to you all - its just so sad

Divesh Singh Sensei Chris July 15, 2018

Sensei Chris,

You were an amazing Sensei, coach and person. You have always been there for me and Racheal through our years with karate. You’ve always enjoyed teasing me but in the bestest way possible only to make me work harder because you knew I could better myself even when I didn’t. I still remember at my first grading how you first hand introduced me to the shinai and that laughter you had after, we all knew that was the start of many. And the signature phrase you used to me “toughen up princess” will always stick by.
The Singh family misses you dearly Sensei. ❤️

Sending love to all.

Completely heartbroken with the loss of an amazing man. Chris has been one of the biggest influences in my life, supported and steered me in the right direction as a young adult and I would not be who I am today without his love and support. Hearts of many are hurting today

It is so heartbreaking to lose someone so dear to your heart. To think this will be the last photo taken of us all together is unbelievable. Chris was our dearest friend, our daughters Karate coach and that crossed over into our business life as a client also. Your passing will leave a massive void in our lives. To the McGregor family he loved and adored you all so much and I know the outpouring of messages will only confirm what you already know. That he was the kindest most caring person we have had the privilege of knowing. RIP Chris
